Overview
KOGEISHA launched the Kids Arise Project in 2021 to support children's futures. This project operates the parenting information site “Kids Arise” and plans and hosts events for children and families. As of 2025, its total social media followers have surpassed 37,000, with membership exceeding 3,000. The flagship event, the Kids Arise Festival, has been held seven times to date, growing into a popular event with cumulative attendance exceeding 50,000 visitors.
KOGEISHA celebrates its 77th anniversary and is taking new steps toward the next milestone of 100 years, and beyond. As we look ahead to the next century, we must consider what we can leave for the future and what we can offer Japanese society. One answer is supporting children's futures. The Kids Arise initiative was born from our desire to deliver more possibilities and richer choices to the children who will shape Japan's future.
Kids Arise's mission is to “enrich children's future choices.” “Enriching choices” doesn't just mean helping children find things they can become passionate about or enjoy. It also means enabling parents and caregivers to find reliable information and supportive services that address their concerns, and receive the necessary support. This, too, broadens children's futures.
To realize this future, we operate media sites and social media platforms and host events centered on two themes: “providing evidence-based information grounded in expertise and experience” and “offering opportunities for children to discover passions through hands-on experiences.”
Kids Arise is an initiative that nurtures children's future potential while also cultivating Kōgeisha's own future. We will continue to contribute not only to the development of Japanese society and economy, but also to expanding the possibilities for each and every child, so that the children living today can envision a rich future.
